About this Course

Guided Nature Hikes with the DFNC are family-friendly evening hikes that take place at different nature hot-spots around Pearland. Each hike is tailored to search for different varieties of local nocturnal wildlife like Wild Night Hikes, Owl Prowls, and Bat Walks! You’ll have an opportunity to learn from our knowledgeable staff about the natural environment and wildlife found at the Shadow Creek Ranch Nature Trail. Small groups of participants will walk the trails with our staff at the lead. Staff will point out interesting features, important habitats, and visiting wildlife during the hike. *These adults only hikes allow for more advanced conversations regarding nature, but the overall format is the same as the Guided Nature Hikes.
